Because illustration and comics exists in their own world separate from design, I have moved my current illustration projects to their own site to be more fan-oriented. However, design illustration for clients will still be shown here.
LOYALTY BUILDER ICONS › These were icon concepts to tell the story of the loyalty marketing process on their website.
LOTUS BLOSSOM › Reference from a photo, drawn with the gradient mesh tool in Illustrator. Roll over the image to see the wires.
DIGITALLY CUTE STAMPS › A study of facial expressions and personification through cute animal characters for a stamp set design.
Each character was hand-drawn then scanned and traced in Illustrator.
BARTENDER CHALLENGE › This was to illustrate a marketing concept for pitching to the client.
Bartender competition in a UFC style octagon.
Ice sculptures featuring the clients brand would be around the event while free drinks are given out.
Bartenders would compete to mix drinks for judges.
PRIMROSE › Illustration for a story about an urban legend from a town near my hometown.
Ho Ho Hoes › Illustration for a hip hop themed X-mas party.
Black and white version was printed on red and green paper to help the client save money.
SELF PORTRAIT › Myself sitting in the computer lab at school.
NAKED GIRLS › Shield your children's eyes.
TRAIN SKETCHES › The best models are real people, who just happen to be all around us. Can't stop drawing every time I get on the train. Trust me, it's better than an iPhone, or reading that crappy Red-eye newspaper for it's useful commentary on celebrity gossip. Try it sometime.
カッシャン › "Casshern", originally an anime from the 70's, an awesome live action movie was made in 2004. This is from the best
scene where he smashes a million robots.
SPIDER-MAN CHARACTERS › These have always been my favorite Marvel characters, I try to give them my own original touch.
WOLVERINE › Codename: Weapon X.
Southbound Train › From a poem by Wing Xiaoni about fleeing Communist China by train.
